The Move-Out Cleaning Checklist Nobody Gives You
Moving is already a full-time job for a few weeks. Cleaning an empty home gets pushed to the last possible day, usually the one where you have the least energy left for it.
A move-in or move-out clean is different from a regular deep clean because the home is empty. That means everything a piece of furniture normally hides is finally reachable, and it's the one chance to get it right before someone else's life fills the space back in.
What to expect covered
- Inside every cabinet and drawer, kitchen and bathroom alike
- Appliances inside and out: oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave
- Baseboards, trim, and light switch plates in every room
- Closets, shelving, and any built-ins
- Floors edge to edge, not just the open middle of the room
Timing it right
The clean works best timed close to your actual move date, either just after the last box leaves or just before the next set of keys changes hands. Send your date when you request a booking and it gets built around it.
